Long before Fresh MTL opened its doors, our co-founder, John Theodoropoulos, was preparing for his first bodybuilding competition in 2013. After months of dedication and hard work, he won 1st place in his category, realizing along the way that nutrition was just as vital as training to achieve peak performance. Yet, he also discovered the biggest hurdle in healthy living: the time-consuming task of shopping, cooking, and cleaning.

This challenge sparked an idea—what if there was a way to make healthy eating more manageable? That “aha” moment soon became a shared passion between John and his brother, leading them to launch Fresh MTL in 2014. Their goal was simple but powerful: provide fresh, delicious, and convenient meals to busy professionals, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone looking to lead a healthier lifestyle in Laval and beyond.
